Shidamyu, a base facility for touring burial mounds in the "Rekishi no Sato Shidami Kofun Cluster" in Moriyama Ward, Nagoya, opened on April 1, 2019. It offers guided tours of the burial mounds, an exhibition room of excavated items, and burial mound experience programs. 1,700 years ago, Kami-Shidami was a key point where river traffic on the Shonai River met overland routes, and burial mounds were built around Mt. Higashidani for about 400 years.
