About this place
Osu Engeijo is a yose (variety hall) and theater in Osu 2-chome, Naka Ward, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture. It stands right next to Osu Kannon. It is known as the only yose in the Chukyo area.
It is a permanent yose hall presenting rakugo and iromono (variety acts). It is a two-story wooden building, with chairs on the first floor and tatami seating on the second. It was almost the only permanent yose in postwar Nagoya.
