About this place
Maker's Pier is a mixed-use commercial facility at Kinjo Wharf, Minato Ward, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture. Maker's Pier means 'monozukuri wharf' (the wharf of making things). Kinjo Wharf is located in the central part of the Port of Nagoya and has been used as a center of trade. The site once had the Kinjo Wharf Central Green Space, developed from 1976 (Showa 51) to 1982 (Showa 57). The City of Nagoya drew up a plan to redevelop the whole of Kinjo Wharf as a 'Monozukuri culture exchange hub.'
