About this place
A facility in Mizuho Ward, Nagoya, that was once the villa of cotton cloth merchant Ito Shinichi. In a garden of 3,600 tsubo, the main residence stretches in a staggered line, and you can see the tea room and garden. It was bequeathed to Nagoya City in 1936 (Showa 11) and reopened to the public in 1968 (Showa 43). Tea ceremony utensils are available for loan.
