A revolving lookout on the summit of Mount Kanpu, turning a full circle over the Oga Peninsula and the former Hachirogata lagoon.
About this place
A rotating observatory at the summit of Mount Kanpu in Oga, Akita. A 360-degree grand panorama opens up, and inside there are a restaurant where you can eat while looking at the view and a souvenir plaza handling Oga souvenirs. There is no regular bus; the sightseeing shared taxi "Kanpuzan Liner" runs from Oga Station.
