About this place
Tsugaruhan Nebuta Mura is a hands-on tourist facility in Hirosaki, Aomori Prefecture, themed on the Hirosaki Neputa. Besides the Hirosaki Neputa Museum, a permanent exhibition hall for the Hirosaki Neputa where demonstrations of the Neputa festival music are held, it includes Sangendo, where visitors can hear live Tsugaru shamisen, and facilities where they can watch the making of folk crafts of the Tsugaru region and try making them.
