About this place
An art museum in Yoshino-cho, Hirosaki, Aomori. It renovates the Yoshino-cho Brick Warehouse, built in the Meiji and Taisho periods as a sake brewery, with the concept of "inheriting memory." It presents cutting-edge art from Japan and abroad, and collects and exhibits contemporary works that engage with the history and culture of Hirosaki and Tohoku. Besides exhibition rooms, it has a studio, a citizens' gallery and a library.
