About this place
Narita Yume Bokujo is a tourist ranch in Narita, Chiba Prefecture. Its predecessor, Akiba Farm, opened in 1887 (Meiji 20). Industrial vehicles, including a steam locomotive of the Makiba Line light railway, are also kept in working order in the park. It was originally the dairy-specialized ranch of Akiba Farm, the predecessor of Narita Yume Bokujo, which had operated since 1887 (Meiji 20) as a ranch devoted to milking. It is near the Imperial Household Agency's Shimosa Imperial Ranch (now Narita International Airport), and the northern part of the Shimosa Plateau was also a land where dairy farming flourished.
