Overview
A railway of about 39 kilometres from Goi to Kazusa-Nakano, running slowly through the hill country.
About this place
A local railway line connecting Goi Station in Ichihara to Kazusa-Nakano Station in Otaki. It is easy to reach, about one hour from central Tokyo, and some of its 18 stations have station buildings built when the line opened in the Taisho era. From March to December a steam-locomotive-themed toroko train also runs. A one-day free ride ticket costs 2,000 yen for adults and 1,000 yen for children.
