Overview
A shore in Minamiboso, about two kilometres of curving sand, shallow and calm.
About this place
A beach in Minami-Boso, Chiba Prefecture, facing the Uraga Channel, with an arc-shaped sandy beach about 2 km long. The water is shallow and the waves are calm, so even small children can play safely. In summer a seaside school is held, and swimmers and anglers visit from the Tokyo metropolitan area and nearby prefectures.
