A Japanese garden in Makuhari Seaside Park in Chiba. It is a pond-and-stroll garden with a pond at the center, expressing mountains, rivers, sea and woods, and you can feed the carp in the pond. You can enjoy seasonal scenery of cherry blossoms, iris, giant lotus, autumn leaves and yukitsuri (snow ropes), with high-rise buildings as borrowed scenery. In the sukiya-style tea house Shoraitei on the north side of the pond you can have matcha and Japanese sweets.
