Overview
Uplands at the centre of the Shikoku karst, with lodging and cattle grazing along the ridge.
About this place
A leading dairy farming area in the prefecture in the eastern part of the Shikoku Karst, which is also called the Roof of Shikoku and is one of the three great karsts of Japan. White limestone outcrops dot the vast green grassland, and cattle can be seen grazing from spring to autumn. There are facilities for lodging and meals and a plaza with a view of the ridgeline of the Shikoku Mountains, and at about 1,000 to 1,400 m above sea level the sky feels close.
