A shrine in Matsuyama. After climbing 135 stone steps, a vermilion shrine building appears. It is an Important Cultural Property and is regarded as one of the three great Hachiman-zukuri structures in Japan. Passing through the tower gate, you can see gold-leaf-covered pillars, frog-leg struts with carvings and ebi-kouryo beams. The corridor holds many offered materials on wasan mathematics.
