Himehiko Onsen is a hot spring gushing in Matsuyama, Ehime Prefecture (formerly Iyo Province). The source water wells up from 1,000 m underground. Alkaline simple spring (hypotonic alkaline spring) → the water is slippery and leaves skin smooth. However, it is slippery, so watch your step.
