About this place
A shrine in Ehime Prefecture, said to have been founded in the 3rd year of Oei (1396). Surrounded by Yuge Pond, worshippers cross the roofed bridge (arched bridge) in the center to pray. Parishioners continue the practice of daily visits, raising a flag every day and praying for a good harvest and family safety. The arched bridge roof is thatched with cedar bark, and moso bamboo is used for the ridge.
