About this place

A tour departing from and returning to Iizaka Onsen Station in Fukushima, walking an old road on snowshoes. A snow and ice activity of about 1.5 hours round trip to see the "ice temple" formed in an abandoned tunnel. You walk the Bansei Odo road from near the Higashi-Kuriko Tunnel on National Route 13 toward the Futatsugoya Tunnel, an easy 30 to 40 minute course, and the guide teaches you from how to put on the snowshoes to how to walk.
