About this place
Kezoji Park is an urban park (comprehensive park) spanning Kezojicho and Tsutsumi Nishicho in Isesaki, Gunma Prefecture. It adjoins Kezoji temple, from which the park takes its name, and consists of a plaza, an amusement park and various sports facilities (baseball stadium, gymnasium, athletics stadium, swimming pool, municipal pool). This entry also describes the Kezoji Park Amusement Park inside the park. Construction began in 1893 (Meiji 26) and was completed in 1911 (Meiji 44). It started as Isesaki Park and continues to the present.
