About this place
Ueno Sky Bridge is a bridge in the resort spot Tenku Kairo in Ueno, Tano District, Gunma Prefecture. Completed in April 1998 (Heisei 10), it is a grand-scale pedestrian-only giant suspension bridge spanning a deep mountain valley, with a total length of 225 m and a maximum height above ground of 90 m, and it connects Kawawa Nature Park, home of Fujido, with Maho-ba no Mori. Between 10:30 and 15:30, soap bubbles float for 10 minutes every 30 minutes. This happens every day from the end of July to August, and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays otherwise, and is canceled in bad weather.
