About this place
A mountain 620 m high in Asakita Ward, Hiroshima, known as a sea of clouds spot. Looking down from the summit, you see fog covering the town like a white ocean. It occurs easily on mornings of clear, humid days with a large temperature difference from the previous day due to radiative cooling, and September to November is considered the best period. Even on days with no sea of clouds you can see the Misasa River and pastoral scenery.
