About this place
A facility on Kamikamagari Island on the Aki-nada Tobishima Kaido. The Ancient Salt-Making Site Restoration Exhibition Hall restores and covers with a roof the remains of pottery salt-making, as they were when excavated, so that they can be viewed. In the mosio salt-making experience, you can try the ancient salt-making method using hondawara seaweed soaked in seawater and earthenware. The exhibition hall is free, and the experience is 6,000 yen for up to 5 people.
