About this place
A full-scale wooden art museum in Hiroshima. It displays works by modern Japanese painters such as Yokoyama Taikan, Fukuda Heihachiro, and Minami Kunzo and by artists with local ties, and holds planned exhibitions each session from a collection of about 2,200 works, including Japanese paintings, oil paintings, prints, and drawings. On the third Saturday of every month it holds a gallery concert after closing.
