About this place
A branch of the Japan Mint in Saeki Ward, Hiroshima, a coin factory with the only integrated production line in Japan. The Mint Exhibition Room displays coins, old coins such as oban and koban, foreign coins, and decorations, and has a coin set sales corner. Factory tours take about 90 minutes by reservation and are free. Every year in mid-April the grounds are opened to the public as the Flower Walk.
