Overview
A cobbled slope running straight down to Hakodate harbour. The sea and the ferry lie directly ahead.
About this place
A slope in Motomachi and Suehirocho, Hakodate, Hokkaido. The stone-paved road runs straight toward Hakodate Port, and at its end you can see the Mashu Maru (with its red funnel), a former Seikan ferry. It is decorated with cherry blossoms in spring and snow in winter, and takes its name from the Hakodate Hachimangu shrine that once stood here.
