About this place
A cape at the southern end of Mount Hakodate in Hokkaido. It juts into the Tsugaru Strait and was once used as a key point for watching foreign ships. It has sheer cliffs about 30 m above sea level, and on a clear day a panorama stretches as far as Aomori Prefecture.
