About this place
A stone-built open-air bath at the water's edge of Lake Kussharo in Teshikaga, Hokkaido, where the lake surface and the bath surface merge. Kept clean by local people, it lets you watch swans up close in winter. Available 24 hours; free of charge; on Fridays it is available from 16:00 because of cleaning.
