About this place Taiyo Park is a theme park at the foot of Mt. Mineaiyama in Himeji, Hyogo Prefecture. It is divided into the 'Stone Area,' with many replicas of structures, ruins and stone statues made of stones from around the world, and the 'Castle Area,' centered on the mountain castle 'Hakucho-jo' built on a mountain on the adjoining site.
The current 'Stone Area' opened on October 1, 1992 (Heisei 4).
