About this place
Kinosaki Marine World (KINOSAKI MARINE WORLD) is an aquarium with attractions, based on the Hiyoriyama Coast in Toyooka, Hyogo Prefecture. Besides displays of fish and marine mammals, a pseudo-diving experience attraction, and dolphin and sea lion shows, it offers hands-on activities such as interacting with dolphins. Although it is an aquarium, the park also has a horse mackerel fishing pond, and a unique event is held in which the caught horse mackerel is made into tempura and eaten on the spot.
