A market in Musashigatsuji, Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture. Since 1721, as the kitchen of the Kaga domain's Maeda family and the kitchen of the townspeople, it has supported the lives of Kanazawa's people for about 300 years. About 170 shops line narrow lanes, selling seafood of the Sea of Japan, local vegetables, fruit and more, and some shops let you eat on the spot at the storefront.
