About this place
A large waterfall in the middle of the Hakusan Shirakawa-go White Road, in Nakamiya, Hakusan, Ishikawa Prefecture. It has a drop of 86 m, and sometimes the spray covers the road. The plunge pool is right next to the parking lot, where you can see the water pouring down the cliff and hitting the rocks. It is open from early June to November 10, during the period the White Road is in use.
