About this place
A Komatsu factory in Komatsu. It makes medium and small construction machinery, and you can tour the assembly lines for wheel loaders and motor graders. Tours are for groups and schools only, about 1 hour 15 minutes on the first to third Wednesdays of each month, free of charge. Applications are made to the Komatsu Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

[How to apply for a tour] Please apply to the Komatsu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TEL: 0761-21-3121 / FAX: 0761-21-3120) at least one month before your preferred month. [Other] - During factory tours, the touring group's bus is used for movement on the premises. If you do not arrive by bus, a separate bus (paid) for movement within the site may need to be arranged. On request, we can introduce a bus company, including for transfers before and after the tour, so please consult us. - Tours may not be possible depending on circumstances.
