About this place
A local dish of Rikuzentakata. Mitten crabs caught in the Kesen River basin are crushed and strained, then poured gradually into a hoppo broth just before it boils to bind it, making a clear soup. Vegetables such as spinach and tofu are added, and each household has its own way of enjoying it.
