About this place

Kindaichi Onsen is a hot spring in Ninohe, Iwate Prefecture (the former Mutsu Province). It is on the banks of the Mabuchi River, and calls itself an onsen village in tourism promotion. There are four spring sources (Oyu, Tama no Yu, Kinei no Yu, Reimei no Yu), all flowing naturally at source temperatures in the 30s C. All are privately owned. Reimei no Yu is centrally managed and supplies several inns and day-trip bathing facilities, while Oyu supplies Ryofuso, Tama no Yu supplies Obonai, and Kinei no Yu supplies Hotel Kindaichi. Simple spring (hypotonic weakly alkaline low-temperature spring)
