Overview
A gallery in Higashikagawa, in a town that makes 90 per cent of Japan's gloves.
About this place
A glove gallery in Hiketa, Higashikagawa. In a town with more than 90% of Japan's glove market share, it exhibits the local glove industry as art in a historic townscape. A building that was a glove factory until around 1998 has been renovated to recreate a Showa-era glove factory lined with retro old tools and sewing machines, and you can watch the work. Admission is free.
