Overview
A campsite on Mount Takahachi in Ayagawa, with a wind hole that breathes cold air.
About this place
A wind cave and campsite halfway up Mt. Takahachi, also called Ayakami Fuji, in Ayagawa, Kagawa Prefecture. The inside of the wind cave is kept at 10 to 12 degrees Celsius even in midsummer, was once used to store farm products, and still blows out cool air. The bungalows and tent sites are closed, so camping and barbecues are not available.
