About this place
A hill in Yakatazaki, Tonosho, Shozu District, Kagawa Prefecture. A place that also appears in the 1954 film Twenty-Four Eyes, it looks across to towns in Okayama and Hyogo Prefectures on the opposite shore. Local volunteers have worked since 2013 (Heisei 25) to restore and preserve the landscape, and about 200 apricot trees and about 200 lemon trees have been planted without pesticides. There are wooden signboards, a wooden deck, bamboo fences, and stone tables and chairs.
