About this place
Kagawa Prefectural Arena (Anabuki Arena Kagawa) is an indoor sports arena at Sunport, Takamatsu, Kagawa Prefecture. The completion ceremony was held on November 29, 2024 (Reiwa 6), and it opened on February 24, 2025 (Reiwa 7). Its catchphrase is 'New excitement is born in Setouchi.' The former Kagawa Prefectural Gymnasium, completed in 1964 (Showa 39), was known as the 'Ship Gymnasium' for its Japanese-ship-like shape, but closed in 2014 due to aging.
