About this place
Nakatsu Gorge in Kochi Prefecture is a scenic spot designated as a prefectural nature park, located about 500 m up from National Route 33. A gorge carved by rain falling on Mt. Nakatsu Myojin, with sights such as Momiji Falls, Uryu Falls, Ryugu Pool and Sekichu scattered along it. A trail is provided from the entrance to Sekichu, and at the entrance is the hot spring lodging Nakatsu Keikoku Yunomori. The best time for autumn leaves is mid-November.
