About this place
A waterfall upstream on the Setogawa River, a tributary of the Yoshino River, in Tosa, Kochi Prefecture. Selected as one of the 40 Famous Waters of Tosa, it has gorge beauty with lush green mountains on both banks. A two-tier fall with a drop of 30 m formed by a fault, it is also said to be a fall where the amago trout cannot climb and turn back.
