About this place
A memorial monument in Takegaoka Park in Nahari. The monument honors the businessman Nomura Shigekuma, who was called the Transport King of Tosa and contributed to the development of sea and land transport in Kochi Prefecture. He was the founder of the Nomura-gumi automobile department and the Nomura-gumi workshop, and also worked on the integration of Shikoku's bus business and the founding of Kochi Railway and Tosa Shosen.
