About this place
In Miyagi you can enjoy a wide variety of ramen, including soy sauce, miso, salt, niboshi soba, Iekei, tsukemen and mazesoba, and some shops serve seasonal limited ramen featuring seasonal ingredients. The Ayashi area of Aoba Ward, Sendai, which promotes ramen for town revitalization, and Iwanuma, with more than 30 restaurants, are fiercely competitive areas. Spicy miso ramen, which first appeared in Sendai in 1983, is also well known.
