A famous summer spot in Izunuma and Uchinuma in Miyagi, where lotus flowers color the whole area. You can see the marshes covered with large pink flowers, and the Lotus Festival is held every year to match this season. Small sightseeing boats steered by boatmen pass among the flowers.
