The grounds have a group of sazare-ishi, mentioned in the national anthem Kimigayo, among the largest in Japan. Udo Shrine (Ryugu) sits in a cave at the east end of the grounds, and from inside the cave a silhouette of a rising dragon is said to appear near the entrance.
