About this place
A swimming beach in Hiraiwa, Hyuga, Miyazaki Prefecture. A white sand and green pine beach continues for about 4 km, and it is also known as a surf point. Parking is free with space for 305 standard-size cars, and there are toilets, changing rooms, coin lockers (paid) and showers (warm 200 yen, cold 100 yen). The opening of the swimming beach was discontinued from 2026, but use such as surfing is still possible as before.
