About this place
Aoidake Onsen is a hot spring in Yamanokuchi-cho, Miyakonojo, Miyazaki Prefecture. The former facility name was 'Aoidake-so.'
This hot spring gushes at Aoidake-so inside 'Aoidake Nature Park' in the Wanizuka mountains.
It is characterized by slippery, thick-textured water, and the facility's official website says it was also selected among the Top 100 Thick Hot Springs (Toromi no Yu 100-sen). It is also a facility included in the 'Kyushu 88 Hot Springs Tour.'
The facility was originally the 'Kokumin Shukusha Aoidake-so,' established in April 1971 (Showa 46) as a facility of the former Yamanokuchi Town.
