About this place
A roadside station in Kushima, the southernmost town in Miyazaki Prefecture. One minute on foot from JR Kushima Station, it is a downtown roadside station, rare even nationwide. It has Umiyama Marche, lined with fresh seasonal fruit, vegetables, fish and processed goods, Umiyama Shokudo, where you can enjoy dishes such as the Kushima fresh-killed yellowtail Puri-don bowl, and the conveyor belt sushi restaurant Sushi Tora. There are also an information hall, an event plaza and a dog run.
