About this place
A park at Kanzakibana, the westernmost point of mainland Japan, in Ozasa, Sasebo, Nagasaki Prefecture. Located at 129 degrees 33 minutes east and 33 degrees 12 minutes north, it has a monument to the westernmost point, a four-extremes exchange monument with Wakkanai (northernmost), Nemuro (easternmost) and Minamiosumi (southernmost), and a lawn plaza. On warm days you can play in tide pools along the rocky shore, and a certificate of arrival is issued.
