The JMSDF Sasebo Museum (Kaijo Jieitai Sasebo Shiryokan) is a museum and public relations facility operated by the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force in Sasebo, Nagasaki Prefecture. It exhibits materials on the JMSDF and the Imperial Japanese Navy. Its nickname is 'Sail Tower.' It opened at its present location on March 10, 1997 (Heisei 9). Its predecessor was the JMSDF Defense Materials Hall set up in 1968 (Showa 43) within the Sasebo Supply Depot (now the Hirase Office) in Hirasecho, Sasebo.
