About this place
Oshima Ohashi Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge in Saikai, Nagasaki Prefecture, linking the Nishisonogi Peninsula and Terashima in Oshima-cho of the same city. From Terashima, you reach Oshima via the Terashima Ohashi Bridge. It opened to service in November 1999 and was managed by the Nagasaki Prefectural Road Corporation as the Oshima Ohashi Toll Road, but was opened free of charge in April 2011. Route name: Nagasaki Prefectural Route 52 Oshima-Otawa Line End point: Nakaura Kitago, Saikai-cho, Saikai, Nagasaki Prefecture Construction began in 1991, and with public works costs of about 19 billion yen and toll road project costs of about 10 billion yen, the total project cost was about 29 billion yen.
