About this place
The spring-water garden 'Shimeiso' is a historic site (residence and garden) at 2-125 Shinmachi, Shimabara, Nagasaki Prefecture. The garden is a National Registered Monument, and the main house and front gate are National Registered Tangible Cultural Properties. It is also called the Former Ito Family Residence.
