About this place
A stone church on Kashiragashima in Shinkamigoto. Designed and built by Tetsukawa Yosuke, it was completed in 1919 using stone cut from nearby, and was designated a national Important Cultural Property in 2001. It stands in the Kashiragashima settlement, which is included in the World Cultural Heritage Hidden Christian Sites in the Nagasaki Region. Advance contact is required for visits by both individuals and groups.
